Lakota Tichnell, of Tucson, Arizona, is a photographer and jewelry designer.  Lakota works with natural stones, creating spiritual pieces which evoke the warmth and beauty of the desert.  Her photographs invoke the stillness and quiet solitude of the southwest.

Jonathan Duprey, her partner and co-owner of Not Anotha Jakal, points his camera at the urban harshness of the desert.  A metalsmith, his folk jewelry has a hard edge, enhanced by small sculptures
set in wire.
