ArtFare.org A Community Arts Center on 6th Avenue  

ArtFare.org is a nonprofit community arts center stretching along North Sixth Avenue from Congress Street to Pennington Street. 

 ArtFare has taken downtown revitalization into its own hands, as ArtFare re-creates Sixth Avenue with a makeover inside and out of the multiple building complex.


This information is provided as a review of the happenings at each of the buildings occupied by ArtFare on 6th Avenue.

TALA, Tucson Academy of Leadership Arts Middle School, a charter school,  is anchoring the #55. Principal Leon Buttler has engaged exciting teachers in the curriculum such as Philip Bennett, www.philipgbennett.com , who has agreed to help develop the performing arts program for TALA. Doug Tidaback, director of the Arizona Jazz Academy and longtime tenant of ArtFare, is lending his expertise to create a progressive music program for the TALA Students. Ye Ole Coffee Stop will be opening 1st week in October from 5am till 10am, serving beverages and pastries at a “Pass through” window available from the sidewalk for quick walk up service. Furniture is now installed on the Promenade for your convenience.

  El Ojito Springs Gallery at ArtFare “In Process” has been extended till the end of September. Take a moment and drop by, FREE. Tour the exhibit.  Available during school hours by appointment. Teachers, students, parents are invited to tour the exhibit, before, after or during school. Just stop by Area 51 on 6th Avenue and an artist support staff member will assist you.

ArtFare's Ballroom is available for rent as a concert, theater or banquet facility.  Seats 150 comfortably.  Contact Gabi Andres at gabi@artfare.org for more information and rates.  Other venues, including two Dance Studios, are available for rent for an event or ongoing classes.
